Log in to your Utila account. In the Utila Console, go to Vault Settings, then the ‘Backup’ tab, and select “Create New Backup”.
Choose Option 1: Self Managed. Select “Generate Keys Manually”. Open your terminal in the desired folder and run:
openssl genrsa -out utila_backup_key 4096
openssl rsa -in utila_backup_key -pubout > utila_backup_key.pub
You’ll find two new files in your downloads folder. Go to the bottom of Utila’s website, click “Add Backup Key”, name the backup, paste the PUB Backup Key content into the Public Key text box, and select ‘Upload Key’.
Back in the ‘Backup’ tab, find your new backup, click the three dots, and select “Request to download”.
You will now need to proceed with using the Custom Upload feature with Station70.
