How to Perform a SWAT Transfer

This article outlines the steps you'll take to execute a SWAT transfer.

1.1 Initiate the Transfer

  1. In Station70, select the backup package to transfer.

  2. Click Entire Workspace Recovery.

  3. Choose Transfer Package.

1.2 Select your Standby Unit

  1. From the list, select your Standby Backup Unit.

⚠️ If no unit appears:

  • Confirm you have an unused Standby Wallet unit.

  • Ensure it has not previously received a SWAT transfer.

  • Its status must be “Standby”.

1.3 Finalize the Transfer

  1. Initiate the recovery.

  2. Complete:

    • Enterprise approval threshold.

    • Station 70 operator approval.

  3. The package will move to Processing, then to Pending Passphrase.

Next Step:
Wait for the passphrase prompt to complete final recovery.


❗ Troubleshooting Tips

  • SWAT will fail if the Station70 API user is removed.
    → Ensure the Station70 API user is active and approved in your account with your Wallet Provider's app. Removing this API user, will result in your transfer failing.

  • Invalid API Key?
    → A different error will appear. Recheck and retry the API key setup steps.
