Setting up SWAT
This guide walks you through the required steps to set up your account to perform a SWAT transfer.
🔗 Step 1: Link a Backup Unit (SWAT Source)
Setting up your Primary Wallet as the source in a SWAT transfer:
1.1 Getting started
- Contact Support@Staion70.com to request us to add a Standby account.
- Station70 will notify you once the request has been created.
1.2 Add a Station70 API User to Link your Account
- Log into your Station70 dashboard.
- Go to Wallet Connections.
- Select the unlinked Primary Wallet backup unit.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to add a Station70 API User.
- Download the CSR (Certificate Signing Request) file provided.
1.3 Add API User in Fireblocks Console
- Log into your Primary Wallet Provider console.
- You will need to add a new user and select API User.
- Provide:
- A name for the user - Station70 API User
- Role: Viewer.
- Upload the CSR file from Station70.
- A name for the user - Station70 API User
- TheSetting up your Primary Wallet as the source in a SWAT transfer: account owner must approve the new user in their mobile app.
1.4 Complete the Link
- Copy the API User ID generated by Fireblocks.
- Return to Station70 and paste the ID.
- Click Save.
✅ Expected Result:
The status should now show Linked, and your vault accounts and wallets will auto-populate.
🆕 Step 2: Create Fordefi Standby Backup Unit (SWAT Destination)
Setting up your Standby Wallet as a backup unit for use as a SWAT destination:
2.1 Link the Standby Wallet Backup Unit
- In Station70, go to Wallet Connections.
- Select the unlinked Standby Wallet unit.
2.2 Create a Station70 API User
- Log into your Standby Wallet Provider console.
- Go to add a new user, and API User.
- Copy the API Key provided.
- Close the creation window.
2.3 Complete the Link in Station70
- Paste the API Key into Station70.
- Click Save.
✅ Expected Result:
Status should update to Linked.
