Setting up SWAT

🔗 Step 1: Link Fireblocks Backup Unit (SWAT Source)

To use a Fireblocks backup unit as the source in a SWAT transfer:

1.1 Getting started

1. Contact Support@Staion70.com to request us to add a Standby account.
   
   
2. Station70 will notify you once the request has been created.

1.2 Connect the Backup Unit to a Fireblocks API User

1. Log into your Station70 dashboard.
   
   
2. Go to Wallet Connections.
   
   
3. Select the unlinked Fireblocks backup unit.
   
   
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to add a Fireblocks API User.
   
   
5. Download the CSR (Certificate Signing Request) file provided.
   
   

1.3 Add API User in Fireblocks Console

1. Log into your Fireblocks console.
   
   
2. Click the gear icon → Add User → select API User.
   
   
3. Provide:
   
   
   • A name for the user - Station70 API User
     
     
   • Role: Viewer.
     
     
   • Upload the CSR file from Station70.
     
     
4. The Fireblocks account owner must approve the new user in their mobile app.
   
   

1.4 Complete the Link

1. Copy the API User ID generated by Fireblocks.
   
   
2. Return to Station70 and paste the ID.
   
   
3. Click Save.
   
   

✅ Expected Result:
The status should now show Linked, and your vault accounts and wallets will auto-populate.

🆕 Step 2: Create Fordefi Standby Backup Unit (SWAT Destination)

To create a new Fordefi backup unit for use as a SWAT destination:

2.1 Link the Fordefi Backup Unit

1. In Station70, go to Wallet Connections.
   
   
2. Select the unlinked Fordefi unit.
   
   

2.2 Create a Fordefi API User

1. Log into your Fordefi console.
   
   
2. Go to User Management → Invite Users → select Fordefi User.
   
   
3. Copy the API Key provided.
   
   
4. Close the creation window.
   
   

2.3 Complete the Link in Station70

1. Paste the API Key into Station70.
   
   
2. Click Save.
   
   

✅ Expected Result:
Status should update to Linked.
