Device Update: Replacing a Lost or Inusable Authentication Device
For customers that have lost or bricked their Authentication Device and need to add their new Authentication Device to their profile.
If you've lost your Authentication Device or forgotten your PIN, and can no longer approve actions in your Station70 account, the Device Update feature allows you to register a new Authentication Device (or re-register an existing one) so you can regain access and become active on your Policy again.
This secure process ensures that all changes are approved by your Policy members and maintains the integrity of your account.
When to Use a Device Update

You’ve lost your Authentication Device

You’ve forgotten your Authentication Device PIN
-
Your Authentication Device no longer works with your Station70 account
How to Perform a Device Update
1. Initiate Device Registration
- Contact Support (Support@Station70.com) and inform them that you wish to change your Authentication Device.

After Support has completed your ticket, log in to your Station70 account

Go to Actions and look for the Alert and select Register Authenticator
⚠️ At this point, your current Authentication Device will be marked as inactive. You will no longer be able to approve actions until the new device is approved.
2. Register Your New or Existing Authentication Device

Plug in your new (or original) Authentication Device

Follow the prompt and tap your Authentication Device to register it
3. Notification Sent to Policy Members

All members of any Policy you’re part of will receive an automated email notifying them of your device update

They will be asked to review and approve your registration request
4. Approval by Policy Members

Policy members will see an alert in the Actions and will select to Authorize Device

Clicking the item will open a confirmation pop-up

To approve, they’ll tap their Authentication Device
5. You're All Set!
Once the required approvals are complete, your new Authentication Device is active and you're fully restored as a member of your Policy. You can now approve actions and perform account operations as normal.
